Wow - only just seen this Zoe. This is incredible - I've never seen anything like it. It's superb.

I think you may be right, Zoe. I was so excited about your little typewriter, that when I was Face-timing with my daughter yesterday, I put the video on, turned my phone towards the computer and said, "Oh my gosh! You have to see this!!!!", lol. Silly and serious? Me? Absolutely! I was in my garage this evening, painting the exterior of my wooden doll house and singing at the top of my lungs, to Cat Stevens. My son tried to ask me something and I said, "Hold on, I don't want to be distracted.". He was like, "Are you serious????". ;)

Ok, so I watched it three more times, lol. You giggled at the end! I heard you! You are just having too much fun with that precious little find! p.s. Hand creams, moisturizers and such are great for people who never wash their hands....because they never do anything to get their hands dirty. Manicures. Pffft! Total waste of money, just like Edel said.

LOL! I think we might be similar people, Holly. (I think you described yourself as "silly and serious" in your profile and I thought 'That's me!') The little typewriter's great isn't it?! I did giggle at the end - I hadn't realised there would be sound so it's just as well I was concentrating hard on what I was doing right up until that bit!

Oh, my goodness! I just watched the video, like 5 times! I want to play with it! I'll bet you have "typed" on it all day, haven't you? Such fun! I love this! I'm going to be wearing one of my silly little permanent smiles, now, today and my boys are going to ask me why I'm smiling, and then I'm going to go into this long story about your typewriter and they're going to wish they hadn't asked! My stories of such things can go on, and on as I tend to get really excited about stuff like this and then my boys are ready to stuff me into a closet! Ok, going to watch the video, just ONE more time....ok maybe twice. Oh my gosh, it's soooooooooo cute!! Thanks Zoe!!

Who would waste money on that kind of stuff, it is much better spent on things like this fantastic typewriter!

(Please don't look at the hands - they've had a hard and neglected life - complete strangers to moisturiser and manicurists.)

I learn to type on one of these! I worked as a legal secretary on the conveyancing side and it would take a couple of days to type a document. No rubbing out allowed!

I learned to type on something similar too, in a lunch-time tying class when I was at school. There was something very satisfying about the noise and action but yes, no room for errors - at least we were allowed to use some sort of pre-Tippex stuff to cover and retype but it didn't go down well with Miss...!

Oh I can't see it on the iPad.

Oh that's a shame, Jan. The carriage pushes over to the right then you can press the keyboard down (makes a sound a bit like a typewriter) and each time you do so, the carriage inches a bit more to the left like a real typewriter! It totally tickles me!!
