Dolls' Houses Past & Present

About Me

I purchased my second doll's house in December 2014.  This doll's house is a 1930's Folk Art House constructed from Pear frut crates.  I named the house Maison d'Anjou.

I also purchased a  vintage, hand built English Georgian dolls house in 2003 and have been slowly working on the exterior.  I found the dolls house at an antique mall.  The dealer told me that he purchased the dolls house in England from an estate sale.  He seemed to remember the town of Wigan, England as the source.  My guess is that the dolls house was constructed in the 1960's.  I call this house Sabine Hall and have posted photos.
