Dolls' Houses Past & Present

About Me

I've loved doll's houses all my life.  As a child, growing up in Lancashire, I had a Jenny's Home set.  I discovered the collecting world about 30 years ago and various houses have come and gone since then.  I now live in Southern Ireland.

I'm great at starting new projects but hopeless at finishing them.  I currently have two houses and one shop which are actually going backwards!  Two house kits not started and two vintage houses - a Triang No. 60 from the '30's and a G & J Lines No 13 from 1906.

I was delighted to find this group with its focus on older houses.  I still mourn the loss of the excellent magazine International Dolls House News.

Welcome to DHPP, Michaela! Houses going backwards sounds very intriguing - and your Triang and Lines houses sound great too, I also have a 1906 Lines house - it's No 17, the Country Villa. Look forward to seeing photos when you have time :-)
