Dolls' Houses Past & Present

About Me

I have been collecting antique toys since 1985, then I worked as an au pair in Paris and the following year in London... So I became a collector when travelling.

I found my first dollhouse only in 2004 at the nearby flea market in Anduze: a miniature school from the sixties' (Jouets Weber, from Switzerland), it's made of cardboard with wooden school desks and plastic dolls. Since then I have been dollhouse hunting. Now I have more than 60 of them, with some roomboxes. I prefer vintage or antique ones.

Here's the website of my association:

It's funny as I have found a few like us who didn't have a dolls house when they were young. I now have a 2nd house that I am doing up as a french house with wattle and daub and all the timbers.
