Hello Claire,
Thirty-five houses now?! Three years ago you had eight and could not fit in any more - and then the Pippa house. Would love to know how you have found room for another twenty-six! I am up to five-and-a-bit and running out of space.
oh my goodness claire over 35 houses thats amazing, were do you manage to store them all? Though i gotta say i have picked up a second tiny house and everytime im viewing houses i find i wish i could buy them so i reckon i could have a problem on my hands lol
Hi.You say you collect pippa dolls,so you must have an idea what they sell for.I have a long blonde haired pippa with a green shiny dress and a boy pippa from when i was little.I just wondered if i put them on ebay, what sort of price do you think they might go for.Thankyou Jackie
Hi Joy, no this was a ready built house from Anglesey dollshouses which I had for my 40th birthday. To be quite honest up until a year ago I only had 2 houses, the shop and the castle. Then I discovered ebay. 6 houses from ebay this year and all the furniture although I am slowing down now. The barton was my last house. I honestly dont have any more room any where except maybe some more lundby levels but then I am as high as i can go. I cant really see in to my top level. I also have a display of miniatures, then there are about 400 magazines and lots of books. I am currently collecting petite princess from the states. I have got quite a lot on its way and I have no idea where to put it.
Another idea for lundby lighting and ive heard this is effective. Remove the plug and push the wires through the holes, re attach the plug and insert the plug from the back obviously making sure there are no bare wires touching the circuitry. Dont know if it makes a lot of difference but you have got a tighter fit.
Hi Claire, thanks for your message. What an amazing castle and lovely gothic interiors. Did you make it from a kit? The mouse castle sounds a fun idea. You have quite a collection for only six years! I had the same experience with lighting which is why I changed my Lundby to 12 volt. My Caroline`s Home being much smaller, I hoped the 3 1/2 volt system would work properly but it was not too good even after a lot of fiddling. [`Last and final house`? I have heard people say that before!]
Please post photos of your castle! Has it got a draw bridge? Joy.
