Dolls' Houses Past & Present

I am a mum of 6 (mostly pretending to be adults), married for a very long time!!  full time carer for my son and a registered nurse.  I have always lived in Shetland, so its difficult to persue many hobbies without the good old internet, as materials are hard to come by here.  With our long winter nights people on our wee islands tend to be craft orientated, mostly knitting but I personally do a host of other crafts as well.

My first project was a completely selfish thing, I saw a sad looking dolls house the same as one I had when younger.  I didnt have the skills or tools to do anything with that one, so as an older, wiser person decided I would try a spot of renovation.  My Geebees DH9 Tudor i am afraid to say is probably going to be the first of many !!!!!
