About Me

I have always been interested in iniatures and dolls houses but recently it has become rather serious! I have two houses now ,a Triang 77 and a Triang 50.

When we were children my sister and I had a Conway Valley dollshouse. As we were brought up in Llanrwst in North Wales where the houses were made it seems that would be the only house we would have! I remember the smell of the glue and sawdust as we walked past the little toy factory in Llanrwst....all gone now of course but there are a few people still in Llanrwst who worked there

I now live in a small village about 30 miles from Llanrwst but visit there often as it's a lovely old market town.

Of course, the dollshouse I really want to find is a Conway Valley but they are rare and collectable so my chances may be a little slim but I keep on searching!

I have now found my Conway Valley dolls house and am so excited. It hasn't arrived yet...it's being delivered Friday 25/9 but it seems to be in good condition although again the sun blinds are missing!!
