About Me

I recently acquired an old dolls house that a friend was giving away for free and it has now re-kindled an interest in finding appropriate furniture to put in it.  I have posted a picture and hope that someone will be able to tell me more about the maker and the year that it would have been made.

Hi Teresa I love the dolls house! I had one very similar when I was a little girl. I'm sure you will have fun finding fabulous furniture to fill it.

Hi Teresa, welcome to Dolls Houses Past and Present! The dolls house in your profile photo is a Toy Works D08, which was in their 1973 catalogue. It might have been made a year or two earlier - we don't have any catalogues before that year. You can read about Toy Works in our magazine, Issue 16, March 2013, page 9 http://www.dollshousespastandpresent.com/issue16march2013p9.htm
