Dolls' Houses Past & Present

About Me

I've been collecting and making dollhouses and their furniture since August 2012. I work in the technology field so having "real" things to work on is my saving grace! My kids are grown and gone so the dogs and I spend many happy hours with the dollies and their abodes that my dear hubby indulges me in. My dolly houses make me so happy I made my own bloggie blog to memoralize them, https:/

Hi, Shanni! i'm trying not to be a pest. I know you work and are very busy. But there has been so much trouble on this site with comments n photos not showing up, i'm not sure you saw my comments to you about a wooden cabin that was/is for sale here. it is in Garden City which is right next door to me in Westland. if you are interested let me know how i can help you. i also just put photos of two tin houses i bought today. i'm interested in selling them for what i paid ($25.00 each!) and am thinking of shipping them over the pond as a flat pack, if any one over there wants them. Hope all is going well for you. Comfort

hey! how are you doing with the cold!? i wanted to tell you what i found at an antique mall today! there was a very large, open back, looked like home-made cabin. it comes with furniture, sorta blocky stuff, but well made. it was on a large board with landscaping and a canoe! i wanted it sooo bad! if i wasn't moving, i'd have bought it on the spot! it would cost at least a 100.$ just for shipping. it was priced at 125.00. i think it was on about a 1/4 sheet of plywood and had a loft. oh, my!!!!!!!!!!! have a fun day, Shanni! 4:48 PM on February 7, 2014's Comfort, not Joan. it would be neat to meet. i don't think I'll have time, what will all the snow and packing! I've been to the Ark twice to see David Lindley and twice to see a play and once to a street fair there in Ann Arbor. Lovely town! Comfort

Thanks for the welcome. Yes my profile pic is some of my forty plus houses, and still growing although I really have run out of space. I will post some pictures when I figure out how to post them and use the site properly.

Hi Shanni, welcome to the site. Just wondering what sort of houses you have? We love to see pictures of new houses and don't see so many from the US so if you have the wherewithal and time, I for one would love to see yours.
