Please see the caption to picture 13, previously, for the history of this model number. The owner says that the house shown here dates to 1964-66. It is definitely no earlier than 1964, because that was the first year in which these plastic roofs were used on the metal-fronted houses. The owner may have evidence for dating the house to within two years because the style of the Tri-ang label changed in August, 1966, and this house may bear the version in use before then. An image of this model's label is not available. There is no interior view available for this particular house in this Album, but the layout of the rooms remained unchanged in this model throughout its long run. A view of the interior layout of another No 40 may be seen in picture 18, subsequently.
