Careful Val! Researching these is a big rabbit hole to go down! LOL.

Looks very solidly built. Do you think the end bit might have been added later?

I do think the braces on the bottom were added later. The side wing is original though. I had to do a lot of research on these houses after I got it. There is a picture of another of these houses in the file with the same configuration and I have seen others online with the wing on the other side and even one giant house with wings on both sides! That would make that particular house 63" long! wow. I suspect they were built to be rather modular and could be added to, depending on what the customer ordered.
