Gorgeous house, always wanted one of these.
How lovely to find a house of this age that only had one loving owner.
Now it will have 2

Very clean and tidy? Is this house 1/12 scale?

None of these houses were made to scale, but this is much larger than 1.16, so 1.12 will probably suit it best.

It's fabulous and what a nice story to go with it.

Both of the fireplaces are loose from the wall but hadn't been painted behind, the upper room was green and the lower a sort of peach/cream colour. The house has been well but carefully played with. The lampshades are, I think, originals, but have been covered in lace and are crumbling to pieces. There is what I think is the original wires for curtains at every window which have been covered up by lace curtains held in place with drawing pins.

Oh, it's marvelous inside, lots of interest and the fireplaces are great - (no pun intended, sorry)

She has - love the light shades. Looks like it was green upstairs and pink downstairs from this photo. Can you see any evidence?
