We went to Chester for a few days in the moterhome and visited Erddig house, a national trust property. This is the doll house which was in the nursery. The doors were open so I couldn't see the front.

I used to live round the corner from Erddig house and though I visited it I don?t remember the doll?s house. Maybe they didn?t have it 22 years ago!
It is lovely, I would like to have seen it, maybe I should pay another visit.

It's lovely! You did well to get such good photos, despite the rope

I was there last week too, and found it impssible to see what was in the house, even with a torch. Sad, really.

There wasn't any info or labels, a shame really, I would have liked a better look, but it was on the far side of the room with a rope across the door.

Oo, a sight to quicken the heart! It?s beautiful isn?t it? Was there any info on it or was it just an incidental toy in the nursery?
