In a room setting
As you can see, the pieces are quite big, and as the chairs are plain wooden back, it's a bit limiting as to how they fit in a room setting

Yes I agree, don't split them up into two rooms. Look forward to seeing them in their final setting! Love the carpet!

I don't think they will stay in this room, it just happened to be empty. I think they would suit one of the half Kits Coty, the table and chairs would go in the bay window and the chairs in the room. I want to keep them together. I'll have time for a good play tomorrow.

That is a great idea, Val. It would be such a shame to divide them, even between two rooms next to each other, but a bay will give the feel of a family room with separated spaces for dining and relaxing.

I think they were probably intended for a German Puppenstube or dolls' room - they were often quite large and had moveable china or metal stoves which fitted neatly in a corner, leaving more wall space for bulky furniture than in an English dolls' house. But I think they will be lovely in your half Kits, Val!

I thought that I recognised the room sizes and doors!

All lovely and the sideboard looks good from any angle.

I would put the three-piece suit in one room and the dining suite and sideboard in another. They do look fab.

I do like it though. The colours fit beautifully with that wonderful carpet and the pretty wallpaper. The furniture would have fitted better, perhaps, if the sideboard could have been on an end wall. But the fireplace is in the way!
Thanks for showing it Val. I shall look forward to reading comments from others who know about styles, histories and makers.
