Would love to know the dimensions. It looks as though it was just two large rooms, originally but might lend itself to subdividing to make a bathroom or small second bedroom. Of course, my Grecons are mainly elderly and would prefer housing to a dance hall, but I can see the value of that as a venue, too!

Rosemary and Edel have taken stunning pictures of the back opener houses with lovely sunbeams and shadows streaming through . These pictures are especially beautiful in black and white...
I agree with Holly, I'd forget the middle floor and go for a wartime tea dance, go for bunting, war time posters and sandwich/tea trestles...

It reminds me a bit of an old cinema or village hall perfect venue for tea dances! Rosemary could bring her Grecons round for ballroom dancing lessons. I do like the big space inside interesting potential for an unusual project.

I was going to make a floor for it, just a pity it back opening as they are more difficult to display.

That's a lovely space to work with and I expect it should have a new floor. But at the moment don't you think that the windows and door give it a bit of a look of a 30s onwards hotel or office foyer? It is a very pretty house
I agree! The subtle grandeur of it without a second floor is quite lovely.
