The rugs in this house a all so impressive and the silky fringing finishes this one off beautifully. It must be wonderful to be such a talented painter - a real plus for a miniaturist! The mural (the temple at Luxor?) is fabulous: it is almost a crime to have that furniture in front of it - even if it is Escutcheon!

The armchair upholstered by the owner - she said it was a formidable task, but matches her home-made curtains. The book case and books are hers, the frieze running around the room and the gorgeous embroidered top to the transformed Triang Q.A. stool. The tulips are home created - I forgot to ask about the tiger skin!
Escutcheon cupboards and small c o d. A few Neil Carter artefacts on the beautiful wood veneered table. (again, I forgot to ask who the maker was)
