It's been fascinating to see all this furniture. You really do have some beautiful pieces and some real treasures. Look forward to seeing more of this house.

The armchairs are beautiful, I would have guessed Westacre too! They did make footstools too, I think. The squishy pink one looks Edwardian or Victorian (home-made?) to me. The radio/gramophone horn is gorgeous. The gilt shelves are, I think, an Erhardt and Sohn medicine cabinet. Is the jardiniere wooden or papier mache? The horse and brass towel rail are more modern, I think. It is my DREAM to have a red lacquer Westacre grandfather clock, you have a beautiful collection from this house alone! And what a lovely bone or ivory horse and cart!

The chairs do look like they could be Westacre (very desirable!) A close up of the legs would probably help with identification.

Hi, the legs of the two chairs are very similar to those of the tub chair - they look like Twiglets! There is also a rather lovely sofa with the same legs. I've googled Westacre (thanks Zoe and Jan) and it's a definite possibility. Also have a red lacquered Westacre grandfather clock.

Could the two armchairs possibly be Westacre?

Hi Edel, they look almost home-made. Very rustic anyway.
