hotly followed by an eager and panting Henry. Standing out of sight, at the back of the entrance hall, Michelle rolled her eyes and pursed her lips as Marianne, festively crowned, greeted the guests at the front door. From then on, the line never faltered, and Marianne gracious in her negligee, greeted them all. She was relieved that it seemed that her bete noir had not attempted to gatecrash the great Grecon gathering. Until......

Grecon dress styles - some are almost a uniform in their repeated fashion. The bridesmaid's dresses are always real silk and have hand stitching to them. I have never seen another dress like Vanessa's - it is possible it was either a one-off or a later creation by an owner, Only time will tell,.,,,if another turns up but I think that it is original. The fluffy polka dot evening dress worn by another (Predatory Pamela) from the same batch has been seen on other dolls. So no real answer to your query.

Some of the Grecon ladies were amazingly well dressed considering their stature. I often wonder if the outworkers making them were given any chance to be creative, or if they just had to follow a given design all the time.

It IS elegant and I have no reason to think that it is not original. However, it is usually covered by a muslin apron as Vanessa desperately attempts to keep Charleston running on an even keel and find time to paint her pictures as well.

I love seeing pictures of the Towers. The Grecon lady with her back to us has an interesting dress.
