Replacement Parts?
I was hoping that the doors and windows supplied by a well-known UK catalogue would fit, sadly not. Time to get creative with the plastic and craft knife. I'll keep you posted on how it goes!

We don't see many Toy Works Houses.

My daughter inherited a Toy Works cottage and I was talking about it to my neighbour only last week. Hannah is now 38 but still had hers as it was her favourite toy, inspite of having a mummmy-made cardboard front door. Anyway, when we came home to check on our poor little abandoned abode last Friday, Caroline (neighbour) had left an exact copy of it on our doorstep! Photos going into album.
They are very stylized and obviously intended solely for children, but I find them very appealing. Just wish I had room in our 'squat' to work on both it and my little Triang.

Such a cheerful and welcoming home

And cheerful is the word for the inside!

Apart from falling apart, and the lost front door and window shutters, it looks in reasonably good condition - the lithographed floors, especially.

Please do let us know how you get on - the front door to my Toy Works house is missing and I'll be very interested to see how you get on.
