A somewhat extended Triang No. 53
Uploaded on behalf of Lallyp. Lallyp says: "I was alerted to this abomination by Carol Peters and knowing that my daughter Clare feels she may have to wait a long time to inherit my 53, I suggested that at the right price this might be worth buying. She collected it today from Portsmouth. Now Clare is a renovation virgin, only having bought houses so far that needed little or nothing doing to them so this is a big challenge for her. It is house no 7 in her Collection!

Oh dear, can you say chimera. I'm glad it's been rescued and is being rehabilitated.

It is such a stylish house - and so much of it's time, I can see why they are sought after.

When I think of how much some of us lust for a 53 (or any Ultra Modern) AS IT WAS MADE I totally fail to understand how anyone could have been so unhappy with theirs to do this to it....

Edel, Clare has lusted for 53 for a long time & been outbid on at least three so this was actually a Godsend!

I see two future houses, the 53 back to being a 53 and another made of all the extra bits.

Abomination! Love your description, however I think you can see plenty of the original there, good luck with this project it will be worth it.

Oh dear - the original facade has been mucked about with as well! But she can possibly make another house out of all the additions.

Rosemary, Clare is Uni & the Woodworking section could cut the required pieces for her!
