Those houses only got my attention a few month ago when I purchased my first Gottschalk house.
I bought it because I loved the look, it was so modern and colorful compared to other houses,
Then someone told me that it was heaven on earth and probably Gottschalk or Schönherr.
So I started my research and soon after that my special DDR board on Pinterest.
I love the decade, furniture is either a bit bourgeois or just a bit funky already.
They remind me of my parents interior when I was a child, my mothers had a rather modern taste in those days.
So, I have a weak spot for the architecture and I am very afraid that this won't be my last house. (Don't tell my husband!!)

I have never ever thought of East German houses, I could really get into their décor. Kitty I joined you on pinterest...

I found this picture: https://nl.pinterest.com/pin/498351515007721936/
And I even saw one with the same fence with flower banks on it but I highly doubt if those were original.
It is my dream to design and make my own 60's furniture. But somehow I keep on buying stuff instead of creating. There are plenty of examples on Pinterest that inspire me.and I have a very good memory, I do remember the furniture and acessoirees my parents used to have.
I think that n orange furred stool might just be a bit to funky.... Although I like the idea.

i loved looking at the pinterest page! and by golly, i saw a house just like yours on there! i became excited and wanted to tell you! duh!...it Was your house! i am so embarrassed! rofl what do you think those nails were for? maybe a little corner flower box? just my opinion, but i think 60's furniture would be "easy" to find? and the orange accents would be cool. i have an "idea" of an orange furred foot stool!?

I have a Facebook-page where I show some pictures in the comment underneath this article (you won't understand a word, I know, but a photo says more than a thousand words) https://www.facebook.com/Kittycreatesminis/posts/1500161866717091

I found some information, just not enough and the beautiful house with double doors isn't close to what my house looks like.
Well: as close as any double room Schönherr anyway.
I do appreciate your help, you are all so friendly and all show so much interest.

The one on ebay (191930218634) is slightly earlier than this one of Kitty's, as it has brown window pelmets - orange ones, like this one has, are later. And no, we don't know of any model numbers for post-war Albin Schönherr dolls houses.

If only!
I can't find anything on the bottom.

Do they have a model number to go by.

Me too to be honest.
I just can't find enough information and pictures of this house. to know exactly what to do.
I don't believe Astrid owns this one (diepuppenstubensammlerin) and I haven't seen it on this website either.

Eager to see how you restore this one Kitty.
