Thank you for your comments - I see what you mean Edel! I've just discovered a bonus to Dad's design of the doors: there are two main sections to the front of the house which open out and then each one of those is also hinged so you can open up just a small section. For this photo I shut the left hand side door and then took the photo through the bathroom door on the right. A bit of trial and error as I couldn't see what the camera was focusing on. But got there in the end! I like trying to capture the private life of a dolls house...

Your dad certainly did a super job on this house in every respect, Sarah!

Lovely, lovely photo. Super flowers and altogether a great scene. Those glasses, I'm trying to remember what it is that gets added to glass to make that colour. It's not just lead - there used to be cut glass lead glasses year's ago, but for the life of me I can't recall what makes glass milky blue
