Bit worried that I can't put wooden beams up the walls for reinforcement and solidity. Perhaps I should have gone for another style of 30s house - mock Tudor? Na - metal windows do it for me ;)

Thanks v much - still hesitant about being ablt to produce the house ...
Alsohavering around on internals 'cos would like to do house in present time but decor between when built and was thinking 1955 but do keep getting tempted by bits of 60s and 70s ..

Still can't get pictures so can't view galleries - ah me miserum.

Absolutely fantastic, am really really looking forward to seeing the house progress - the 1930s are my favourite architectural period.
