Have strewn the old herbs and rush stuff and was re-assembling the group, glu dotting the cuddly cats together when turned them over --- thought you might like the shot ;)

That would work well, I think. My cat is a tortoiseshell/tabby I don't know what the parents were.

about the moat: I was thinking more T Prachett and the aligator being stuffed and hanging from the ceiling as in a wizard/alchemists 'cell'

Buster one of our cats had that too (he was I suppose tortoiseshell colouring) but his mum and sister were mostly black and had pink tootsies. Sadly all gone now
