Too big to go on shelves
Huge dresser but narrow shelves Think I painted these about 4 years ago and then put them away. Since coming across them again this week am now planning to make a small box scene with homemade shelves and possibly a small cat - oh ad the plates

These plates are stunning - so beautifully painted and the dresser shows them off perfectly.

Beautifully painted and so right in style. I have tried painting plates and have not done anything as nice as these. I must try again. What did you use for the plates?

ps: If money were no barrier I'd run riot buying the finished work of Henny Staring-Egberts on

Her work is so delicious, detailed and perfect - what more can I say

I think they were the cheapest clear white ones from eBay and some saucers too

These plates are lovely, over narrow shelves seem to be a recurring problem in dolls' house furniture.

They're beautifully painted, Do. Did you make the plates or buy plain white ones?

Many thanks all round. They're ordinary basic dinner plate size I think. The dresser is someone's homemade and full of panel pins. Am really looking forward to making some plain shelves and putting them in a glass fronted box I have
