I absolutely agree! They were a fraction of the price of the old ones when they come up for sale these days, and they are from the same moulds. I bought up as much as I could whenever I saw it and have never regretted it.

All these, and previously shown, metal items were available to buy in Pollocks Toy Museum in the 1970s. and also in stores in Denmark and Germany at that time. I believe that the hanging candlearbra has been copied now, and new ones are or have been, produced in Japan. Babette Schweitzer had a stall at the Kensington Festival some twenty years ago, showing the metal items that they were still producing but I have never been able to find out where you can buy them!
