Found this strange looking little house a few weeks ago.
The front is in two parts, the left hand side is a later addition and is a stronger yellow in colour, and the flowers are not as well done as the rest of the house. I've always wanted to do a mad cat lady house and think this will fit the bill perfectly. But first it needs quite a bit of repair, ah well maybe one day.

No, she is renting from Grampa Grecon, so he is responsible for all the repairs. She will have enough pennies to spoil the kitties.

Jut seen this and LOVE it! I like the quirky houses but then, I'm a mad cat lady (donkey, dog, sheep, hen and goose lady too) and we mad ladies don't care!
I'm sure a mad cat lady would be happy living there just as it is - wouldn't she be spending her pension on cat food and not repairs?

My first thought was that this is an Amersham house!

It looks like a couple of the more unusual Amershams I have seen online and possibly in one of the dolls house magazines. They did seem to be a bit quirky with their designs, but the wide base throws me unless it was changed when the extension was done?
Love the idea of a crazy cat lady house

Hi, what a sweet little house. It looks to me as if it's had an extension on the right-side but the base is balanced on both sides (same rebate on the right and left side) so that idea can't be right, can it?

The red windows are lovely, really cheery and it's a lovely porch too. Mad cat lady sounds fun! I wonder if there was a single storey room on the side originally or else the base must have been extended/replaced too.

Perhaps there was a garage on the side originally? That would explain the large base, which does look original.

The windows are puzzling me a bit as they look like Romside, but I've never seen Romside in red before. Also there are no closing catches either.

Lovely little house, such a cute theme, it looks perfect (purrfect) for lots of comfort seeking cats.

Absolutely! This is so sweet, I like the slightly ham-fisted extension.
