Higgs House, tatty and mouldy!
I was busy with my own real house and they waited ages for me to start it. I decided I had better get to work before the girls got too big for it! I stripped it out and started again from scratch.

so this was Not Your house but a house you were renovating for the friend's girls? what do you do for the mildew and fungus? for your physical self, what precautions do you take? do you wear
masks? i am terribly sensitive to these and can't breathe well around them. i've never known what to do to protect my self, so i just try not to have it in my house. i can smell it a "mile" off!

I used bleach, I used it with the door of my work room open. I brushed it on and then left the room till it dried and then later wiped it off. If I had a problem with bleach I would have used lemon juice. I tried not to get the house too wet as it was mdf and was already a bit damp. There were still a few bits that remained black so I painted over them once nice and dry!
