These are REALLY lovely! And Murdstones is a good name, it sounds quite Dickensian.

Murdstones! Great name for them! Superior servants is a good description ..I'm re-reading a Lord Peter Wimsey novel at the moment, he has Bunter his very correct and extremely efficient man who organises everything.

I'm thinking of calling them the Murdstones . Although they are more Edwardian than Victorian they will replace two wooden peg dolls as (very superior) servants in my small scale box back, which I still haven't got round to photographing.

All fabulous, they are a bit sinister looking in their black clothes..do you have any plans for them?

The rather sinister couple in black are French - all from the Gollands' stall..
