Tootsie Toy: A Cinderella Story
Many Tootsie Toy pieces are broken or in disrepair. Trash, to most, but not to me. I have many of these pieces, so I decided to have some fun and combine matte spray paint, and some fabric trim pieces, from vintage tattered childrens' clothing. The little chair on the left is missing the bottom halves of it's legs. By adding a pretty piece of fabric and by covering the seat, as well, it's now a charming little vanity chair.

I try to find a use for everything that comes my way - not always possible but it does give you a great sense of satisfaction when you give something which might otherwise be written off a new lease of life. Very creative and pretty, Holly.

Zoe, thank you! I hold the same sentiments, "...you give something which might otherwise be written off a new lease of life.". It's so rewarding and also fun!
