I think you might have a similar Hacker to the wreck of one I have just bought. It is in the shape of 433 on page 270 of Swantje's Hacker book. Does your roof fold back and do you have any of the original roundel that were on the roof of the house (or cottage, as I think it is called? fromJan Sutcliffe new e-mail jan.sutcliffe16@btinternet.com

Hello Jan
Yes, it does sound like mine, the triangular attic roof folds down at the back. I'd be very interested to see photos when you have time to post them. Sadly I don't have any of the original roundels and I think there should be a metal trim across the roof. I had wondered if I could find chess pieces or something similar that would work in place of the roundels. I have collected as many pictures as possible found on the internet in a Pinterest album (I'll try to email you a link). One of the cottages pictured with a stork's nest on the chimney I think seems closest to it's original condition. Mine is rather a wreck too, so overpainted, but the columns at the front still retain small amounts of the gold lining, I have slowly managed to strip some of the modern paint off there. It still has a lot of work needed though!
