Hi Sarah, it has great character, it's what drew me to it. I was hoping someone here might tell me it's scale. Interesting ideas about the lighting. It would be nice if they could turn on with the switch, even if I have to change the bulbs & wiring. I, only last night, discovered a bigger problem, the two bay windows on the left hand side are coming away from the house & wont easily go back in place..hmmm, I'm determined to sort it!

This house has great character and scope. Not sure what the scale would be but you can get lithium battery operated lights which would not involve any wiring if that would be easier. I re-wired old light fittings to 12v in my house and plugged them into a socket strip which works OK.

Thank you theinfill. They are deep, I can barely reach behind the stairs, and dark. My first priority is to get the lights going.

Really lovely proportions - the rooms are pretty deep. It's lovely ;)
