Doesn't look like "the team" are overly worried by any of that!!

If anyone else is wondering about the faults, well, the tacks were too big and came through the wood. When I was planning the measurements I didn't allow for the two fronts to fold flat, they needed to be 1/2 inch smaller to do that. Finally, I hemmed the sides of the front before joining the seam, so now I have a double hem at the front sides.

This is excellent...... I love how your Grecons have pitched in to help. I am not clear what is not right about it, (?) but perhaps a baton between the top two sides would hold the front of the awning straighter if that is the problem?

She's certainly not in a dignified position, maybe the wine is to blame.

Are you referring to grandma Zoe? She won't be pleased!

Oops, in her prostrate position I hadn't sussed her, thought she was one of Grandpa's mates - please don't tell her!

Brilliant, Val! Thoroughly enjoyed watching the Human Bean and Grecons making this and it looks great - well done all! I've gone for the cheap and lazy option, I'm expecting my Sylvanian Families Gazebo any day... (Right boozy boys these two!)

The Sylvanian gazebo certainly looks good in photos - a great option, I think!

The hinges are tiny ones sold for dollhouse use. They come with small nails/tacks, which I used. They weren't quite small enough. Where the hinges are over a second bit of wood they are ok, but where they are only over the baton they poke through. Ok for my use, but not for a child to play with.

Fabulous! Now the Greconsfield Grecons can relax after all their hard work.

How did you fix the hinges, Val?

EXCELLENT! Val - look how much money you have saved. You did hinges too which I am rotten at fixing- and all I have done is think about making one. Actions speak louder than words.
