I can't remember the garments I cut up to make the clothes...... I doubt the navy blue was Laura Ashley though as I would probably have bought that to wear myself!!

I forgot to say that a girl in my class at school had a very similar party/Sunday dress but hers was just below knee length. I think it was from Laura Ashley - they were posh!

She's a really lovely doll, Judy. I can't believe you made that wonderful dress - no wonder your needkework skills are so good now if you were that good then!

Thank you. Looking at the work in it now, I am amazed what I created back then! She has lace trimmed drawers, and a lace trimmed petticoat, all hand stitched and fitted without the help of any pattern. I made a cloak and poke bonnet too. I will put a photo of that on soon.
