This started life as a Gee Bee DH10C "collapsible" house at Christmas 1974...
Many many makeovers later: This was my childhood house and between 1974 and about 1984 and again in 1986/87 I continually redecorated it, gave it a new mansard roof (for more space) and made dolls and furniture for it. I had very little pocket money and used whatever was to hand or the little I could afford. Unfortunately this included sticky plastic "Contact" as wallpaper, gloss paint and lots and lots of UHU...

Yes it is Zoe. The first furniture it had was made of Lego - not very satisfying, as it was very clunky and clattery on the house's bare glossy floors. I then progressed to matchboxes, and then to self-designed cardboard creations, before my father let me start using his Stanley knife when I was about 11 and I made the leap to scraps of plywood. Sadly I never kept my early efforts, I'd love to see them today.
