Floor paper
Remnants remain of the original floor paper upstairs, which looks like a terracotta type tile effect, soft pinks etc

I have found some nice herringbone parquet flooring paper from the magpie site. Looks quite crisp, not wishywashy like some I have seen. More like the hobbies paper of old. Will see what it looks like but might give it a coat of dark oak varnish as well to age it. I prefer to have a wooden floor finish as it is more versatile than carpeting. Changing rugs can alter the whole appearance without having to go to the trouble of completely stripping out again.

Good girl - you know it makes sense. There is a lot of prettier flooring around. What were you thinking of putting down?
