Lol I still scavenge sample books from my local carpet shop! Lino ones are fab for flooring! Also blinds ones are great for making DH blinds too as they don't fray!

Very light looking. One of the less desirable things about the 50s/60s houses was the dreaded wallpaper sample book decor we gave them. We would hang around decorator's shops asking for the pages when they were no longer in use. One shop in Leeds would allow us to write our name and address on the back of two sheets maximum and save them or us. But they were always less beautiful once in the house because of the scale, they were not quite what we hoped for, but the best we could have.
