Beautiful, cosy room! It has stepped back a few generations with this new décor and the sideboard with its runner and potted plant (aspidistra or parlour palm? And is that a stick telephone on the end?). Despite being made of plastic, I love the Caroline's Home corner cabinets - they look so effective with the displayed china visible through the "glass" doors. (I have one in Brenville's parlour and it's not at all obvious that it's not made of some dark wood). I'm glad you've kept them! The smaller fireplace is much better. I love this wallpaper!

It looks real! Nice paper.

I kept some of the original wallpaper and put it in the picture frames.

Hi Valerie, The old fireplace took up most of the wall.
