Ta Da!
Hi everyone! I'm sorry I've been incommunicado but I've been deeply obsessed with creating a display for my coveted Barton Tudor furniture!

All your customising of this kit has certainly paid off, Shanni! What a super little house it's become.

Thank you everyone. I did feel guilty all the time making it because it was just my job and the dollhouse for 4 months, leaving DHP&P and sometimes my husband, in the wings!!

It's amazing, Shanni, so good to see it in its completed state after watching eagerly as it came together. The outside detailing is excellent and I think the feet make a statement: "I am more than just a house, I hold something special." I have just noticed "Bartons" etched in the light above the front door, another lovely detail.

I've been following your progress on this project and I have loved every moment of it. It is a fabulous house with some wonderful details. It is lovely to see it fully furnished. I loved your comment "The last day was somewhat bittersweet; that high that you get when you're done with a long and arduous project and that sad funk that you get when you're done with a long and arduous project!". I so understand what you mean by that. The house is just fabulous and you should be very proud. I look forward to seeing what is next.

You have created something unique from something quite ordinary. It has become a little treasure in itself to house your little treasures inside!
