It's lovely Joan and all the more special when it's been given as a gift from someone special. You are going to get so much pleasure from it over the coming months and years.

Joan! what a lovely gift!... I know you are going to enjoy this so much...and as you say, there are no limits now with this scale and if you take your time it will give you years of collecting pleasure as you wait for the right bits to come along. I always think too, that even if your house isn't that old you could still furnish successfully with old furniture ( as in my Hobby's) or you go for lots of splendour by buying newer items, or mix both!!!...the sky's the limit and I shall enjoy seeing all your photos. How many rooms does it have? are there any furnishings in already and what style are you thinking of?

Hi Patty
There are 2 rooms downstairs, 2 rooms upstairs and 2 attic rooms. It came with a black cooking range, table and chairs, sink, bed, wardrobe, wash stand, spinning wheel and chair, sewing machine and lots of accessories. I want to keep the black kitchen range and maybe add some modern kitchen units. I'll post some photos of the inside.

Looking forward to 'not' having 1/16th scale restrictions. This is a big baby.
