Wall lights and cooking range glowing. Thanks for all your comments and encouragement. Without them I think I may have given up.

Oooh, lovely! The glowing range is gorgeous. I love the patchwork cushion, too.

This little house has come such a long way. It's been a delight to see it evolve, Joan.

Thanks Julie

Blimey, Joan!...don't give up!

I too love the patchwork cushion, but the whole house is smashing too. You have done a great job.

Thanks Patty

Oh rJoan this kitchen is to die for and i just love everything about it and all your little bits and pieces. The lights you have placed in this house are superb as they give such a good lite, my ones appear very dull compared to these

Hi Adele, thanks for your comments. I think the lights look bright because they are in small rooms. Shortly after this photo was taken, the new transformer blew, sudden darkness. I was gob smacked. My husband came to the rescue and brought down a 12 volt transformer from an old computer in the attic and so far the lights are back on again. I am going to return the faulty transformer tomorrow.

I bought a Phoenix range on ebay second hand. It arrived this morning with one side off. So, out came the Superglue which had stuck fast to the lid. I tried very hard to get the lid off and only succeeded in twisting the whole top off. Got it all over my decentish trousers and had to take the whole stove apart because it had been stuck together a bit awry. Glue leaked out on to a piece of junk mail put there to catch it, so I feverishly applied the glue with a cocktail stick and got pretty stuck up in the process! It appears to be stuck but I walked away and left it alone all day!

This kitchen looks great, so cosy, and homely!

Oh Valerie, I can sympathise with you, I've been there many times too. I got a table and chairs from ebay, they arrived with 2 legs broken. It's stuck together now but there was glue everywhere for a couple of days. Same thing with the small chest of drawers in the tiny bedroom photo, it arrived in pieces, glue everywhere again. Adding the lights to this dolls house is a long story too. My husband had to come to the rescue and explain a bit about electrics. Hope your range is fixed now, looking forward to seeing your photos.

You seem to have the knack when it comes to making rooms cute and cosy, Joan. They look clean and tidy but lived in - perfect!

This is lovely, it has a great atmosphere. Where did you get the range from?

Hi Chris, I bought the range on ebay, it looks like it could have been hand made.
