Well done, Sharee, these are lovely. Are they the ones that were on Trademe? I think that's an early Barton fridge -- someone else will know better than me, but anyway, it's in beautiful condition, whether it is or not. Love the dresser -- never seen one like it before but isn't it gorgeous?

Yes they are the ones we saw on TradeMe Jane. In this instance the real items are far better than the pictures on the auction site. I'm really happy with the items.

I think CHS might stand for Crailsheimer Holz- und Spielwarenfabrik, Sharee but this is only the amateur detective in me so I may be completely wrong!

You're probably right, Zoe! Maybe diepuppenstubensammlerin or Ysé can confirm it. Holz- und Spielwarenfabrik means Wood- and Toy Factory. (And Küche is kitchen, Schlafzimmer is bedroom.)

I am in a German phase at the moment, Sharee!! I will send you a link to the CHS logo as it won't let me post it here.

You are not wrong Zoe. I found a picture of it in the Flickr site you mentioned. You are a wealth of knowledge. In that picture it says Crailheimer Kuche und Schlafzimmer.

The fridge is just left as wood on the inside but it is so beautifully made and has a lovely painted finish on the outside.
