Each floor in the cupboard is 30 inches (75 cm) wide by 18 inches (45 cm) deep, so the ceilings need to be high to allow me to get my hands in without knocking too much over. I expect them to be lowered a little once the lighting goes in as I shall be using false ceilings to create voids for the wiring to run in - well, that's the plan, anyway!

@ lallyp and Patty. I'm going to have to sit down and really work out the circuits before I'll know if the false ceiling idea is feasible.
