Granny and Grampy's home
Here is their bedroom with en-suite ( no dividing wall at present) Granny used to be a tailoress and still sews sometimes when her arthritus isn't bothering her. They still use one of the hot waterbottles I remember from being a child.

Just starting this is a lovely room for granny and grampys and your hot waterbottle just made me smile as we also used to have one we used that belonged to my granny

I took my stone hot water bottle out into the garden and dropped it on the concrete! I hated waking up with a cold stone in the bed and I wanted a rubber one!
I was a very wilful child sometimes!

When we were house-hunting, as a young couple in 1971, we looked at a house like this, with an unscreened bathroom suite in the bedroom. I said NO!

I knew an elderly couple who had a bedroom like this with no dividing wall. I always found that using the loo - no-one else present - was still a disturbing experience. Obviously I had strict potty training when young!

The bedcover echoes the painted headboard decoration perfectly!
