I papered the side of the dooe to try and blend it in to the kitchen, i was attempting to make a false stairway just inside the door but this was proving difficult so might attempt to draw fake stairway. Just need to glue a little handle onto the door now.

Yes julie i think you are right, i have a tendency to try and do the full works and make things more complicated for myself, but im starting to realise that saying less is more lol

I don't think you need struggle to represent stairs inside this lobby, Adele. The fact that there is a door from the kitchen, leading somewhere, is enough to suggest access to a staircase beyond.

On the back wall lally as im trying create impression of hallway or stairs leading to main part of the manor in the base unit i added as extension
