Kitchen revamp
Ipainted the units in dulux dragonfly blue and the plate rack was a unit from a set i bought for the study. I couldnt use this unit so turned it sideways and added painted matchsticks and viola a new plate rack. Might try and make a cardboard fancy fretwork for the top of the unit to give it a bit of finesse.

Bye the way Adele, when you visit charity shops, have a look at gents ties, you would be amazed how much fabric you get when you unpick them. I look for the very small patterned ones, enough fabric for miniatures, I bought some silk ones for 50p each. ......Got a feeling I have typed this before..LOL apologies if I'm repeating myself....it's all to do with my age..honest , LOL

Boy! Am I glad I'm trying to go through all the dollhouses on this site. What a good tip Ilenalana!

Very nice Adele, I like the colour. Match pots are great, I use them a lot,, I also "get" wallpaper samples like you. LOL I want to try rug making too, I thought I'd make a rag rug for Primrose cottage, You can glue layers of colourful bunka thread on card and it looks like a rag rug. Easy peasy!! I would like to see the blog you speak of too.

Nice furniture Adele and the plate rack has worked out well. I love the colour. It is good to see you getting into making so much yourself and enjoying it so much.
