just asking here....is it a possibilty to use mineral spirits and a super fine steel wool for stripping a dolls house? this doesn't take off paint but gunk-buildup and grease...used on fine antiques

It probably is but I am waiting for an op on my right elbow so I have not been able to rub or scrape!
