If this were my house, because i have no sentiment, i would take it right back as far as i could. Get all the old paint off because its been badly done even if the original is poor. Have a look at what Christine Jaeger did with her Triang Cex in her album, see how lovely she made it look with a full paint make-over. This is what i would do , Chris.

I'm pondering on whether to get the paint stripper on this or not, as the paint underneath is in poor condition. The roof is in really bad condition too, just don't know where to start with that.
