Thank you Edel! There have been some more changes since these pictures were posted. When my new computer is set up I will load updates. iPad doesn't work with this site. The Ari family now have 8 children!

Another case of Noah's Ark Syndrome then!

This is a lovely house in itself Frances and the connection it creates with your father makes it even more special.

True. The lady of the house won't be getting her blue and white twin tub washer though - somebody else bought/won it on ebay. Never mind, I couldn't really afford it anyway.

At least you got the house for free, a good idea to splash out on the contents!

I paid a lot for the house & contents because people were after the Spot-On. I sold it all on and got the house price back - if you don't count how much it cost to collect the alternatives that is! Don't tell 'im indoors.

It has so much more atmosphere since you changed the furniture.

Well, I do have insomnia as a rule but not yet as it's 5.30 in the afternoon here! I'm in New Zealand. I wondered why you were up in the middle of the night :-)

Hi Jane - have you insomnia like me or are you in a different time zone?
Gambolling lambs it is then for both of us, quite exclusive! And perfect for a nursery.

Well, if it was one of my favourite Triang papers, then I suspect the Triang would win. But the gambolling lambs were one of the reasons I fell in love with the house and a tiny green and white check, meh ;-) Besides, I'm going to use it as a nursery, not a bathroom (the bath is long gone) so the lambs fit better.

The Triang paper is still there for posterity, I can see what it was and this paper on top will help protect it for the future.

They are cute! At first I thought I'd change them but it seemed wrong somehow as they are original. I'm not sure I could resist if I saw Triang paper in a Triang house under it though

I'll go & look, thanks. This is the house with the most sentimental value for me. My parents died when I was in my early 20s and as an only child it was difficult. This house gave me a connection back to my father.

I think you have the same gambolling lambs and bunny rabbits paper in your downstairs room as I have in the bathroom of my Princess. I can see the original Triang paper (green and white tiny houndstooth) peeking through in one place but I love the gambolling lambs, so I'm going to stick with them :-)

I love these houses. My friend Abi has one. Her photos are on my album "Joan's friends houses" if you are interested.Whoever built hers tweaked the room layout and some are accessed from the back.It works well.
I like the papers in yours.
