hi Edel these are so sweet.. i have been collecting them for some time now.. i have them in their original box with an assortment of wigs... i love them..

Oh dear, perhaps they are Chinese?

They are Japanese ichimatsu dolls, Maddy, with gofun (made with ground oyster shells) heads, hands and feet :-)

Hello Edel, those little figures are beautiful and you have magically transformed a bit of your garden into a corner of Japan. Even the geranium now has an air of that country.
